Another Day, Another Beret

It's safe to say I have a slight obsession. The tiniest obsession over a timeless Parisian accessory; The Beret.

Do I really need one in every single colour imaginable? Yes, yes I do. Classic black is of course the safest option, and is, of course, at the forefront of my every growing beret collection. However, a red beret screams "Hello, I came to the party and left with a Monsieur". On the contrary to black, red is bold, daring and is the perfect colour if you're looking for that extra .. pop!

A beret can look cute thrown on with any outfit, I'm finding it very hard to think of an outfit I don't want to wear one with. In this case, tailoring seems to be the best option. A trend of the season and something that will also follow through into spring. Wearing a blazer/suit with the accessory of the moment will have you feeling smart and stylish all in one.

Match the beret to your bag and the co-ordination becomes very real.

This outfit would look incredible with a pair of simple black heels, however being the Practical Pamela that I am, I just had to throw on these Balenciaga dupes I picked up in Primark for £14. I'm all about a contrast and these against the tailored blazer dress is that and more.

To add some shape and curve I've added a belt to the blazer dress. Whilst being more feminine it too screams "80's power blazer". Hello Female Boss.

So with the obsession in tact and with the inability to not pick up one beret from every shop that offers, I suggest you all pick one (or two) up for yourself, or you may just find that I've bought them all!
